Which Canva Template Category Would I Start With Today?

For me, I’d probably start with planner, journal, and tracker templates.
Not because they’re the most exciting.
Because they seem to solve problems that never really go away.
People will always want to save money, build better habits, get organized, track their fitness, or work toward personal goals. Those are challenges that aren’t tied to trends or algorithms.
My second choice would be business templates.
Business owners are usually looking for tools that save time, and if a template helps them work faster or look more professional, paying a few dollars for it is an easy decision.
Resume templates would probably come in third.
There’s always demand from job seekers, students, and professionals changing careers. The downside is that it also looks like one of the more competitive categories.
That doesn’t mean the other categories aren’t worth exploring.
Instagram templates clearly have a market, and birthday magazine templates were one of the most interesting discoveries I came across while researching this article.
The bigger lesson, at least for me, is that choosing a category matters less than understanding why people are buying it.
The sellers getting consistent sales don’t seem to be chasing trends.
